Everyone's excited about the new shopping complex that will be home to our new movie theater with 7 screens and stadium seating. Construction on the theater has begun and they suggest a tentative opening date for late spring/early summer.  We're hopeful that this new complex will house a few new restaurants too.  No more having to travel to Destin or Ft. Walton Beach to enjoy dinner and a show.  Now we'll be able to have our night out on the town, right here in town.  CC's Pizza is coming to town and will be built along Hwy. 85, south of I-10.

In case you haven't checked out the Tractor Supply store on Hwy 90, there is a brand new Dollar General and a Pic & Save grocery store sharing that shopping center now.  The new and improved Crestview Police Department is near the intersection of Hwy 85N and Stillwell.   Crestview has applied for and has received some grants to allow for road improvements and much needed parking.  One already approved grant will provide us with 80 additional parking places near Main Street.  Others pending include renovations to the Alatex Building for future use by Fla. A&M School of Pharmacy, new fire departments and vehicles, and hopefully the possibility of making PJ Adams 4 lanes to help move traffic around the city more efficiently.
